Christina's Story

Life Hi After 31 years the grey matter is stretching to conjure images to match the names. Sadly I realize how I missed the opportunity to get to know everyone well - given I had 5 years to do it. So when we meet please be patient if I appear to have a blank look on my face. The "work to rule" resulting in no year book was no doubt a big loss for us. But who can forget all of the hard work the Yvorchucks and other parents did to compensate. I still remembers Kathy's parents and her grandfather building sets in the gym for the grad party. In May I attended my sister's class of '77 reunion. Being Catholic had its perks - prolific parents. I caught up on some of your news from your siblings: Patricia Kaylor, Sheila Morris, Richard Hunger and Jo-Ann Gagyi. Jane Z I read your husband's profile (hopefully you've convinced Gerry to attend). Recently I read about Christine Pickerell in the Globe when she was hounded by reporters to provide details on Justin Trudeau's wedding plans - glad to hear you have found...Expand for more
your passion early in life. I'm thrilled to now have access to John Faughnan's websites and blogs. I had the privilege of sitting next to John in Miss Nolan's history class and I've been a big fan of his intellect and his graciousness ever since. Mr. Ellis there was no warning that you were moving. My yearly trips to St. Laurent still involve walking by your former house. I miss our yearly talks and look forward to catching up. The May 24 weekend of '81 skiing at Whistler followed by sailing in the Pacific sealed my fate. I moved to Vancouver after finishing McGill and have been playing ever since. My husband Stuart & I have 3 sporty nieces (Carly 16, Ali 13 and Annika 7) and we have a healthy respect for our knees to keep up with them on the slopes and the hills. We were lucky to have attended such good schools (Father Mac and Immaculata for me) with energetic teachers and students. Thank you Susan and Joanne for organizing this event - this is going to be memorable for everyone. Christina MacNeil
