Christina's Story
When I graduated JFK HS in 1965, I had no idea what I wanted to do in life. The Vietnam War was raging, and I felt the patriotic call. I enlisted in the US Air Force. My first stop was Lackland AFB, Texas. I missed my friends in Willingboro, and someone that I loved soooo much.
After my enlistment, I began my life's journey, and my family. When my children were all in school, I attended college. I earned an undergraduate degree in business management and industrial engineering. I loved engineering.

Teaching is my calling, and I love teaching at the secondary level. I have taught at 3 junior high school campuses and 2 high school campuses.
When I lost my husband in 2003, I still had 3 children to raise. Once they had graduated high school, I chose to leave Texas. I spent most of my years in Texas thanks to the US Air Force. I needed to begin a new chapter in my life.
Today, I am in the Pacific Northwest with the Department of Defense at Ft. Lewis-McChord AFB near Seattle, WA. It rains here so much. I miss the warmth of the sunny skies over Texas. I look forward to future opportunities with DOD in overseas assignments...
