Christina's Story

Our story...Jeff and I have 4 kids and 1 Grandson. Kristen, Brandon, Devin, Megan & grandson Owen. I have finally put some photo's on after all of these years. You won't see too many pictures of me. I have never been a very photogenic person. Jeff and I are nearing retirement. I am done working, he has a few more years. Our kids are all off on their own. We miss them but really enjoy our quiet time together. They are all in college right now, except Kristen. She is OUT! Living in Tacoma, Washington since graduating from college. Brandon and Alyssa are attending in Columbia, S.C., Devin in Edwardsville and Megan at DACC until she comes to Parkland. Our grandson, OMG! I could never imagine loving anything as much as my kids and more. Grandkids are absolutely the love of your life...and no, not just because you can send them home. lol Owen is the joy of my life. Over the years I have not kept in touch with too many people. A single Mom for 10 years and the kids all in sport...Expand for more
s, kept me extremely busy, between basketball, boys and Kristen, Track, Cross Country, cheerleading, Dance and 3 playing soccer and theatre. Whew, I was one worn out Mom. It was worth every minute though. We are so blessed. Life has slowed down a little other than traveling to see the kids and now and then going somewhere we want to. Camping is every weekend thing to do. It is our heaven away from it all. We have some property in Shelbyville with Jeff's Dad and Step Mom. We plan to build our retirement home there. It would be fun to hear from some of the old Champaign and Mattoon gang. Robin, Debbie, Trudy, Pam, Brenda, Kay. Jean, Tana, Jane and Janet from Mattoon. Jean and I kept in touch off and on but I have not talked to her in some time. Liz Emerson keep in touch although we have yet to get together. I missed our Champaign reunion this year. Have not yet been able to go the the Mattoon reunion other than a Christmas get together. Hope to hear from some of you! Chris
