Christine's Story
Life
I married my college sweetheart Steve Hildebrand (PLU - 1977), in December of 1976 before graduating in June of 1977. We packed all of our worldly belongings in the back of two pickup trucks and drove up the Alaska Highway with Steve's parents to start our new life in Juneau, Alaska. We still live in Juneau. We have two children - Heather (1979) travels with a Christian singing group called Celebrant Singers. She's been around the world a couple of times and back and forth the U.S. multiple times. he Army, stationed at Fort Drum, NY (just north of Syracuse). He's married to Blayne and they have two little boys - Aidan (1999) and Nolan (2000). Our kids are OK, but our grandkids are fabulous!!! Steve works for the State of Alaska, and has since we returned. I have worked for attorneys the entire time, and have worked for the firm I'm now at for about 15 years. Steve and I are looking forward to retirement in 2005 (we hope!). We want to live someplace a little warmer, travel and putter at our various hobbies/interests.
