Chris's Story
I married right out of highschool. Had a little girl 2 yrs later. Divorced when she was 6 mths old. Remarried in 1980. Two more little girls. Divorced AGAIN, 7 yrs later. Married AGAIN, 5 yrs later. No more children. Worked for 16 yrs, took courses for B.A. Fast Forward to 2020. Three girls: Jennifer, Taryn, and Sarah. i have nine grandchildren: Mariah, Michelle, Matthew, Jack, Avery, Declan, Noah and Ayla and Amelia. Jennifer lives in North York with her husband and works in retail. Taryn was married to David in 2008, and lives in Mount Albert. Sarah is married to Andrew and lives near Ottawa.
I stay at home and now with some health issues, I do a little crafting, stained glass, knitting, crochet...Expand for more
ing and sewing. My husband John and I have built a log home up north and we now live here full time, with a condo in the city. He is nearing retirement so will soon enjoy the solitude living in the country brings me.
Life is good. I have reconnected with a few of my old gang; Randi, Cathy, Paula, Michael Clifford, Ross and Reg. There are still a few friends I would like to see again: Bev, Mary and Savitri.
My father passed away in 2005 and my mother in 2011. My sister is well with a lovely son and granddaughter and my brother has two sons and two grandsons and lives close by. Both my sister and brother went to Cedarbrae as well.
