Christine's Story

I am a Gold Member on here once again! YAHHHHHHH I am a proud Momma of 6 beautiful children (24,21,17,15,13,and 11), 1 child in heaven (my son James Bowling would be 18) and a step daughter (16). I am also a proud Grandmama (MiMah) of three handsome grandsons 3 years old, 2 years old and a newborn (6 months). I have been married 2 times. The first marriage was for 10 years and the second time I have been married for 5 years and counting. I work as a Night Auditor for 8 years at a private club. I am a proud NATIVE of Colorado. Yep I am still here HA LOL Military When I was married Nov. 1,1984 my husband was stationed at Ft.Carson with 1/10th cavalry until Jan. 1987 when the cavalry was deattached into Armor units. We then were in the 3/68 Armor unit that was deployed as a cohart unit(which means the whole unit would go to every station from this point on together) to West Germany where we were stationed in Wild Flicken'. My husband sent me and the kids back Nov.1, 1989 because of all the mess that was going on with the East German border coming down. He didn't return until Jan. 1990. After leaving Germany the cohart unit went to Ft. Knox Kentucky and we were there until March 1992. Then the unit was on it's way back to West Germany Mannheim. Me and the kids couldn't go until June this time because there was no housing available. We lived in Frankenthal just 15 minutes from Heidelberg and we were there until Aug. 1994. Then we were of...Expand for more
f to Washington state where my husband decided that he had enough of the family life. So me and the kids packed up Nov. 10, 1994 to come back to Colorado. We have been here ever since. Short version: I have done some traveling being married into the Military for 10 years. I have lived in Wildflecken West Germany (1986-'89), Ft. Knox Kentucky (1989-'92), Frankenthal (Mannheim) West Germany (1992-'94), Ft. Lewis (Tillicum) Washington (1994) and amoung those places I have seen the most beautiful places surrounding them. I have every intention to see them at least one more time and hopefully experience other locations on my wish list. College I went threw an at home program so that way I could be at home with my children. I studied in Medical billing and translation. I hoped to do it out my house, but after all my hard work graduating almost a year early no one wanted to hire you unless you had at least 3 years experience in an office. So to my disappointment I went looking for work and found a job as a Night Auditor that pays as much or more depending on the location. This way with me being a single mother at that time my kids would be in bed when I left for work and up for school just as I got home to take them. That way my 2 oldest children didn't have to watch the little ones. It worked out great. :o) Other options to contact me at cwheeler80906 y a h o o or 66fordfailane m y s p a c e or Facebook Christine Baxter Wheeler Moore
