Christine's Story
Hi,All! I've been living in Hesperia CA since 1977, a little town on the Mojave Desert in So. Calif. Married to my second husband, Don Land, for almost 39 years. Four children (his, mine & ours) ages 49 to 37. The kids are scattered all over the state from Sonoma to Hesperia. Our youngest daughter, Jennifer, lives just across town. 9 grandchildren, 4 gr-grandkids. I've been a wife & stay-at-home mom most of my life! Traveled all over the country with Don...Expand for more
for his work after the last kid left home in 1990. Did a little secretarial work on some of Don's projects (he built power plants) but we are retired now and enjoying every minute of it. Spend our time working on the house. Currently adding a greenhouse. I spend my time gardening, helping Don with his projects, playing computer & video games with grandson Arik (age 14 now) and indulging in my crafting hobbies. Making handpainted greeting cards is my favorite!
