Christine's Story

Life I am happily married for 43 years and together we have two daugthers. One, living in Annapolis MD and practicing veterinary medicine. Our youngest is in Greensboro, NC and is the director of embroidery at Market USA. We have no grandchildren but we have many grandpets. We have both retired and are now living in Greensboro near our daughter. It has been a pretty big adjustment moving from a home of 24 years in MD to one with NO basement. Boy did we purge. hobbies. I am makeing silver jewelry and study with a silversmith in Winston Salem. Recently had a party and now have to replenish my stock!! Well, it has now been 49 years of wedded bliss! My how time flies. My husband and I have a small but busy business selling our homemade gourmet jams. You name the flavor and I will bet we have it. We supply to restaurants, a bakery and the Farmers Market. I do believe that this is the busiest we have been in years. Good thing we both enjoy working in the kitchen!
