Christine's Story
After High School, I worked full-time in a variety of jobs, but my favorite was working in the lab of the paper mill. I married my soulmate, Dave, in 1979. We built a log home in Rumford Point and raised our two sons there. When my sons were in college, I too enrolled in UMA at the young age of 54. College was something I've always wanted to do, and my sons encouraged me to take that step. I had a ball, and got my Associate's Degree in Liberal Studies. I still haven'...Expand for more

My sons are doing very well on their own, and both living in Maine. Dave and I celebrated our 30th anniversary last June, and we are getting ready for retirement and traveling soon. My passions are growing orchids in my sunroom, swedish weaving, playing chess, gardening, and to Reiki my family and friends.
I love reconnecting with old friends and classmates, and looking forward to our 40th class reunion this August 7th!
