Christine's Story
I grew up moving from place to place because my dad was in the air force. I lived in Texas, Mississippi, Okinawa Japan, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Minnesota, Michigan, back to New Mexico, Missouri, back to Minnesota, back to Texas....you get the picture. I have moved alot. My parents have a page in the address book just for me. :o) My in-laws have 3 pages for us. :o) I graduated high school in 1988 and worked for awhile before going to college. ss and it took over 2 years, but Jamie came along 8 months ago and has been the biggest joy in our lives ever since. I have spent the last several years following my husband around with his career, he worked for the AAFES for 6 years and volunteered to spend 15 months in Iraq right after the war started. I am now living in the same base housing that my parents lived in when my father was sent to his first base in Texas when I was 3. The air base closed back in 1976, which is why we left, but the housing is still there and now my daughter is starting her life there. Funny how those things happen sometimes.
