Christine Kapuscinski-Silver:  

an extremely rare cancer, a sarcoma, Gastro Intestinal Stromal Tumors (GIST), and I view this diagnosis as a gift from above, not a worry or fear in my mind or a feeling of self pity ever. It has only made me stronger and more positive and shown me the true value of living a happy life, everyday to the fullest. I choose to devote much of my spare time in help others gain control of their fears when they are faced with the "C" word, it is by far not a death sentence. I can live each day knowing that I am making a positive difference in so many peoples lives. That truly warms my heart. I am a constant supporter of Lance Armstrong and his foundation, (Livestrong.org) and also an active member and supporter of Stand Up to Cancer and not to forget a true supporter nation wide of my little know research and support group Liferaft, for GIST cancer patients. Cancer is just a small portion of my life, I have so much more I am interested and involved in.".
