Christine's Story
About me...I am a full-time working mother. When I am not working (which these days it is not too often), I am spending time with my family. My children (Julianna & Stephen) share in the same interests that I do - baking, listening to music, reading, taking pictures and having fun! We live in the same town where I grew up and they attend the same school I attended. My daughter has even had the same teacher I had for first grade! I always thought I would love living in a big city but I love living in a small town. I want my children to have a sense of what it is like to be part of a community (especially when things go wrong). They have friends whose parents I know from school ...Expand for more

My job...it's okay. It's a paycheck. I think I surprise a lot of people (and sometimes myself) because my job does not relate to any of my "hidden talents". I recently discovered that I can face paint (who knew? - thanks, Stephen). Maybe someday I will have the opportunity to unlock my hidden talents...but for now I need to focus on earning the paycheck.
My friends...I meet most of my new friends through my children. I have a few "life long" friends with whom I still keep in contact but I enjoy meeting new people.
My goal...to raise my children so they feel secure with themselves, love and respect others, and are able to live out their dreams.
