Christine's Story
After graduation I got a full time job. Got married in 1990. Moved to Andover in 1994. I was diagnosed with Multiple sclerosis in 1995. After years of trying finally had my first child(Jordan 12) in 1996.Lost my job of 14 years in 2001 3 weeks later found out I was having my second child(Shawn 7).I currently am a stay at home mom with many paid and unpaid jobs. delays to mental illness, I also advacate for early childhood education. I travel to Mille Lacs Lake very often to visit my parent that have retired to the "lake life". My husband and I do occational trips to Michigan for snowmobiling,and Wisconsin for his hunting and some farm life.At this time I just try to make everyday matter and take it one day at a time since MS is so unpredictable,Not knowing what you will or won't be able to do the next day makes you cherish what you have at the moment.
