Christine's Story
Lived on Highway 77 near Leamington until I was 16. Attended Mt. Carmel Public School, then Kingsville District High School. After Grade 11, moved to near Sturgeon Falls, ON. Did Grades 12 and 13 at Northern Secondary School. Next, spent 4 years getting a degree in translation at Laurentian University in Sudbury. ogist. Became database developer and administrator of multilingual terminology data bank. It's been a good run. Still travel back and forth to my mother's place on Jocko Point about once a month, as I have since I moved to Ottawa. Have kept in touch with a few people from each school and have a niece living in Leamington. Used to visit that area more often when my grandmother was still alive; have not been back for a few years now.
