Christine's Story
I'm now settled in Fairfield County in CT after more than 30 years of living and working in New York City. After trying to become a competent secretary (I didn't have much luck there) I discovered I was a pretty good administrator and manager. That led to more school and a very fulfilling career in Human Resources. I led the HR function for a book publisher (Random House) for many years and then moved to Nowalk to join a public company (EMCOR). arly. These days I'm an avid gardener, love to read, and enjoy cooking. I'm also active in community affairs and have joined a few boards. Silvermine is an interesting community, full of historic homes, and has a fascinating history. I met my "better half" in 1975 and we've been together since then. We don't have children so we've focused most of our unspent parental energy on our nieces and nephews and close friends children. We recently lost our 14 year old Shiba Inu who was a real hand full.
