Christine's Story

Life Christine Redlin Christine is a 20 year resident of Beverly Hills, California, and she relocated from Chicago, Illinois to pursue work in the entertainment industry. For over two years, Christine was the producer of Voices of Tomorrow the weekly Telly award winning educational television show. Voices of Tomorrow airs on Los Angeles county's educational channel LA36 and Beverly Hills, California cable channel 10. She created the show topics, wrote the weekly show formats, booked guests, the production crew etc. She interfaced with teachers, parents, city officials and the like, to produce this weekly award winning show. Christine's entertainment career began in Chicago performing in musical theatre, commercials/voiceover work and working at Colnot/Fryer Music (commercial music production). In 1985, she was a member of the Board of Directors for Women In Film/Chicago (WIF/C) and co-produced the first WIF/C Achievement Awards that honored actress Shelley Long and was hosted by film critics Roger Ebert and Gene Siskel. The WIF/C awards also created an $18,000 scholarship for women filmmakers. Once in California, she worked as a writer and television anchor, for an educational cable and radio news show. She worked as a sub-agent at The Janice Patterson Talent Agency casting talent for commercials, television shows and films and also was the Art Director for talent photo composites. She worked in marketing for peermusic publishing in Los Angeles helping with marketing campaigns for the Grammy award-winning composer David Foster. She co produced the theatre production of Carol's Eve with her brother Richard Redlin written by Drama Logue award winning playwright Pauline Le Por. The play was performed at the Met Theatre in Los Angeles and it starred Alicia Silverstone. at the The Walt Disney Company as a Project Supervisor overseeing the project management for print production in the Buena Vista Home Entertainment division for such films as: The Incredibles, Finding Nemo, The Princess Diaries,The Sixth Sense, to name a few. Christine was the Director of Qualitative Insights a division in the entertainment research department at OTX Research (an international market research company) and she was responsible to oversee that focus group division. In her spare time, Christine enjoys working on creative projects in all media with positive role models that carry a message. She is active in civic duties for the city of Beverly Hills. She was chosen to serve on "Team Beverly Hills 2001" a civic leadership program, that interfaces with the Mayor’s office and city council. She is a certified CERT (Community Emergency Response Training) Coordinator which is a nationwide program established in Washington to have members of the community aid the firefighters and police in the event of a local disaster. She was responsible for the publicity of a Beverly Hills Mayoral reelection campaign and served as a member of the community process committee for the city of Beverly Hills General Plan. Christine also serves on the Board of Directors for The Amie Karen Children’s Cancer Research Fund at Cedar’s hospital in Los Angeles, California. Christine does service work with Planet Hope a charity co-founded by award winning actress Sharon Stone and her sister Kelly Stone. Planet Hope brings hope and aid to homeless families. Christine also serves on the board of Special Angel a program that connects to runaway youth via the power of music to help in their healing. Christine produced a short film entitled Legs – a dark comedy about the lengths that people will go to get “a break” in Hollywood. In 2007, Legs was accepted at the 2007 Method Festival. Christine continues to produce TV and film projects that carry a message.
