Christine's Story
Wow can you believe that its been 44 years since graduation from good ole Sierra High School! Well the school building is still on Painter and Mulberry, but thats about it. Now its and has been an adult school for quite awhile. When I pass by the memories start to pop in my now not so young mind. Some funny and some not so funny memories.
I moved to San Diego in July of 64, because I got married, to the man I met at the ripe old age of just turning 14, yep sure did. I have been divorced since 87 and have been living in So. Cal. since. In my marriage I was blessed to have to beautiful daughters, who gave me the strength to go on with my life as a single woman raising to young girls. Not to mention having to work when I never had. But found a job and we made it. Now my daughters are married and have children of their own. My oldest daughter lives with her husband and two daughters in Corona, Ca and my youngest lives ...Expand for more
in So. Ca. on the same street my parents lived and right across the street. She lives there with her husband and my only grandson, whom I adore very much as I do my other two grandaughters. Ok thats all for now.
Well its been a few week since I really became active in classmates once again. Its really a strange feeling going back in time. I know that we have all changed, not just in looks, but our ways of thinking have also. I do hope that all the changes for everyone have been for the good.
I'm sure that there are things that we wish we wouldn't have done, but since we know those things can not be redone. So we make the best of the years we have left and hopefully make a difference in a possitive way to our loved ones and those we meet down the road. So we hang on and remain strong and ride out the trials that we have had and will continue to have. Don't forget who is in control of our lives. Ok thats all for now.
