Well, somehow I ended up in Vegas Baby! My husband is working on his doctorate in history from UNLV. We have been here for five years and I miss the midwest and my family. I'm ready to get a little closer to home. Vegas is a great place to vacation, but I'm tired of living here. My kids are growing up way to fast. I can't believe I'm the mother of an 18 year old, a 14 year old and an 11 year old! Last I remember I was telling people they are 2, 5 and 9. The years just seem to melt away. spend my time working as a nurse in a small neonatal intensive care unit and in labor and delivery. Some days burnout feels really close, but what can you do? I LOVE to cook,and I seem to be the only one in Vegas who does. Everybody eats out here, nobody cooks! I have also inhereted my grandmother's love of quilting. What a great creative outlet! I sometimes get so involved in a project that I actually consider calling in sick to work! ssshhh, don't tell anyone! I lead a pretty quiet life, I don't like a lot of drama. (That's what the 14 year old daughter is for!)
