Christine's Story
After LT I attended Harrington Institute of Interior Design in
Chicago and graduated in 1971. Robert Liska (class of '63) and I started The Colophon Book Shop that same year. The business specializes in antiquarian books on the history of printing, literary first editions, and military history - particularly WWI aviation. We married in 1974, living in La Grange on Sixth Ave. Our son, Tim, was born in 1981 and we moved to New Hampshire a year later wanting to be out East and closer to my parents. mainly in the beautiful town of Exeter, NH. We love it here. My good buddy, Wendy (Tremaine) Wilson and her husband, Bill, have been by for a couple of visits and we'd love to hear from other LTHS friends. In 2010 our we became grandparents to baby Alex and he is the most wonderful baby in the whole world! Also in 2010 I was back home for two visits staying with Wendy and Bill. I am now the caregiver for my 88 year old father so further visits must wait. When I'm free to do so I plan on a very looooong stay. I miss Chicago and I miss everyone.
