Christine's Story

Life After graduating, I attended Agnes Scott College in Decatur, GA, for 2 years and than transferred to U of Florida to major in pharmacy. Graduated in '75 and met my husband, George, who was also in pharmacy. We will be married for 30 years this November. I first worked for Walgreen's for 7 years, than we had our own pharmacy for 6 years, and I have working for Medication Station, an independent pharmacy in Boynton, for 22 years. We have a daughter, Kelly, 24, who also went to UF and majored in civil engineering. She is back living at home and is working for Kimley-Horn in their roadway design department at their regional office for Florida in W Palm Beach. She is engaged to be married, 4/22/4007, to another UF graduate, Dustin, who ...Expand for more
is an electrical engineer working for FPL. They have bought a townhome in Jupiter and until it is completed, Dustin will also be living with us after his current lease is up (9/30).Our son, Kyle, 22, attends University of Central Florida and will graduate next May with a degree in secondary education and a minor in coaching (yes, there is such a thing) and in history. He played baseball most of his life (mainly as a pitcher) and would love to coach. Right now, he is currently coaching for his club team at UCF. We love to go back to Gainesville for Gator games, and we also have season tickets for Dolphins games. If you haven't been back to Boynton lately, you probably wouldn't recognize it. I'd love to hear from some of my old classmates.
