Christine's Story
Life
My 2 kids, husband and I live in Gilbert. My daughter was born in 1998 and my son was born December of 2000. I worked from home after my daughter was born, then quit altogether just before my son was conceived. Now, I enjoy being a mom (most of the time) and somehow became the Vice President of the PTSO at my kids' school. I may go back to college someday to finish up my sign language interpreting degree (or something??) but that seems far off at the moment.
School
After SMHS, I went to Paradise Valley Community C...Expand for more
ollege for a few years. I quit that after realizing I didn't really know what I wanted to do, and I was naive enough to think I was already earning plenty of money.
Sometime later, I decided I wanted to be a sign language interpreter and went to Phoenix College for a few years. I had to quit that after I started a new job and couldn't leave work to get to classes. Then I had kids and yaddah yaddah, now I'm a stay at home mom. Maybe someday I'll want to go back. Right now, I'm just busy with my kids' school happenings.
