Thomas's Story
Tom passed away 6-9-21 after a 10mo fight with Glioblastoma, a deadly brain cancer. His entire work history was with fire departments. He started with Phoenix, retired after 20yrs, then moved to Doney Park Fire, outside of Flagstaff, as Fire Chief. He fulfilled his 5yr contra...Expand for more
ct, then was hired by Fort McDowell Fire as Fire Chief, and built their fire department from the ground up, as they had none prior to Tom’s hiring.
He had three wonderful sons, and a second wife, Sandy (me). He was a great dad and much loved by all of us. We miss him very much!
