Christopher's Story
I have been wonderfully married for over 20 years now and have raised two great kids. I put my wife through college some years back and she now teaches math in the local high school. My daughter will be graduating from Johns Hopkins next summer on her way to becoming a lawyer, and my son is attending American University in DC with intentions on becoming a doctor.
While I wasn't fortunate enough to have the opportunity to attend college, self-reliance, some luck and perseverance allowed me to enter the business workforce as a software developer without the usual degree required for such a position.
I currently work with a friend of mine in a small business that caters to automotive and motorcycle dealerships. This working relationship has allowed me to go back to college part-time where I am working on a degree in aeronautical engineering with a minor in physics. I am not sure I will ever use it but I enjoy the challenge. I am looking for...Expand for more
ward to more advanced courses in aerodynamics but even more so to the classes in Quantum Mechanics, a topic which has always fascinated me.
Flying has always been a passion for me. I have been a GA pilot for over 20 years now and have recently taken up aerobatics which I find typifies what I enjoy most about flying.
Sports consumes almost 1/3 of my families time. My daughter has my running talent and we occasionally attend her races. But golf and ice hockey eat the rest. For ice hockey, I play in a local men's hockey league out of one of two local rinks. My son, who started skating when he was 3, is now playing hockey for his school. We spend a lot of time traveling to different cities up and down the east coast because of his hockey.
During the summer, golf is my passion. I play at a local country club which I am a member of or in a men's golf league at the public course with a local veterinarian teammate from my ice hockey team.
