Christopher's Story

Following high school, I obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree at Cal State Fullerton (Communications/Public Relations) and then two Masters degrees (M.A. and M.Div) from Abilene Christian University. I met and married the love of my life while in college and we've been together ever since. We moved back to Southern California following graduate school for a relatively brief ministry where surfing was (once again) a big part of my life. My family and I currently live in Dallas, Texas. After living in the Phoenix area for over 13 years, we moved to Dallas in July of 2005 (Why do I keep moving farther from the ocean? That is no way for an old surfer to behave!). Incredibly blessed by an amazing 22-year marriage to my beautiful wife Pamela, we both thoroughly enjoy our two daughters Bevin (17) and Ciara (15). ter for a church in Dallas. Some of my old high school friends find the whole "ministry thing" a surprise. Undeniably, without the Lord in my life, my life would have been tragic! After trying to balance my love for music performance and ministry for several years, the ministry took the upper hand. These days, I rarely take time to play though I really miss it. To say I'm an avid motorcyclist is likely an understatement. As a daily commuter, after riding to the office all week, the first thing you'll find me wanting to do on a Saturday morning is ride with my wife and friends somewhere fun. I really do believe some people are "born to ride." I also enjoy golf and I help out with the high school drama booster club as both our girls are actively involved in the theater. It is interesting to reconnect with old friends and discover where life has taken us. If you'd like to reconnect, leave a note and I'll reply.
