Christopher's Story
Left AV High fall of "78".Received my pilot's license in "79". Obtained my Associates degree in 83 with a major in Aeronautics, and my Aircraft Mechanic's license in "84".
Started college at Cal-State U San Bernardino in "84, and graduated with a BA in Geography in "86".
Obtained my Commercial Pilot's license in "87" and started teaching for AVUSD same year. Left for three years to work on and fly airplanes and helicopters professionally. Traveled all over U.S and into Canada.
Came back into teaching in "91" Been with AVUSD since then. Presently I am three classes shy of a Master's degre...Expand for more
e in Education. Somewhere during this time I managed to graduate two fire Academies, and was a Lieutenant in the Fire Dept for a time. I also got married to Carol Scarbrough and have three children. Divorce ended that relationship, and I am now off busy with a new life.
I also found time to build my own airplane (13 years) which I display every year for the past three at the annual Apple Valley Air Show in Sept.
I also try to find time to go to bike runs like the annual Laughlin, and Hollister runs when I can.
Suffice to say...Ive lived a lifetime since High School and been quite busy.
