Christopher's Story

Life How many times do I have to complete a silly bio? Ohhh alright here it goes... again!! :) After HS I worked for a while at Sears at Crossroads Mall, until 1989. Then I joined the Army that fall. I went to Ft. Leonard Wood for basic and Redstone Arsenal for AIT (Advanced Individual Training). From there I went to Ft. Riley, KS and deployed to Desert Shield / Storm with the 1st Infantry Divison (Mech.) From there I went back to Ft. Riley for a couple of years, then I went to Germany. After Germany I went to Ft. Hood, TX. After Texas I went to Republic of Korea (hated it!) Then to Ft. Bragg. I got out of Active duty in 2001 and joined the Mic...Expand for more
higan Army National Guard with the 1432 Engineers out of Wyoming, MI (which became 1463 Transportation Co.) Then in the winter of 2006 I was called up to go to Operation Iraqi Freedom with the 1461 Transportation Co. out of Jackson, MI. We mobilized out of CP Atterbury, IN and was based at C.O.B. Speicher, IQ just out side of Tikrit. We came back home August 17, 2007 and have transferred to the 1225th CSSB in Detroit. I am the Battalion CBRN NCO as an E-6 / SSG! We are getting ready to deploy to Afgahnistan sometime next year. Right now I am taking online college courses (Assoc. Degree in Business). Hope to hear from someone soon! Take Care :)
