Christopher's Story
Life
Currently living in San Antonio, TX. Married since 1978 (same woman). 2 children (son & daughter-both married), 3 grandchildren (Terrence Ray, Cadence & Christine).
College
After high school, I enrolled at Lawrence Tech but had to drop mid-semester. After joining the AF, attended San Antonio Community College off and on. During my military career, received two Associate's degress; one in Communications and another in Instructional Technology. Towards the end of my military career received a Bachelor's degree from Wayland Baptist Univ. with a dual major in Corporate Training & Business with a minor in Mathematics. Started on a Master's through Webster but had to curtail when my son started college.
Workplace
Currently work as a HR/OD Training Managerfor the local utility company. I also freelance as an independent HR/Management consultant. Looking to launch my own independent practice that focuses business consulting, public speaking and writing. I'm interested in working with both businesses and religious/non-profit organizations.

ground is in leadership management training/develoment, strategic planning, balanced scorecard, performance improvement, communication skills and team dynamics.
After 20 years in the military, I've also worked with a large, international consulting firm, healthcare, manufacturing, sales and now energy/utilities.
My main hobby is music and I've been fortunate to have worked as a semi-professional guitarist for the past 30 years. While in the AF, I had the opportunity to go on a worldwide tour as a guitaritst for the "Tops in Blue" entertainment showcase. We visited 26 countries in six months. I've also served as a band leader for a jazz/R&B band and music director for a few plays.
I try to stay connected professionally and I currently serve on the board for the San Antonio Association for Organizational Development. I've previously served on the local board for the American Society for Training & Development.
Now with the help of the internet, I'm also trying to build an even larger online network. I have networks with LinkedIn, MySpace and Ryze.
