UPDATE****assigned to Bangkok from 2010-13; then to Baghdad, Iraq, 2013-15; then to Taipei, Taiwan, 2015-18; and now, Kabul, Afghanistan, 2018 to present! A charmed life!
I can't tell you how incredible my life has been. I am now living in Istanbul, Turkey and arrived a year ago after living for 3 years in Ho Chi Minh City, in Saigon, Viet Nam. Prior to that, I lived in Kuala Lumpur for 4 1/2 years.
I have been on the road travelling and living this bizarre but oddly wonderful life a week after graduating from Burlington High in 1975.

I will be spending Christmas in Massachusetts this year, after 32 years away from home! It is true what they say, that the world is your oyster. It certainly has been for me and the adventure still continues to this day.
I just hope that those Burlington classmates and friends that were so kind to me when I arrived to Burlington town and BHS, from Islamabad, Pakistan in 1973, are equally blessed and that life has been kind to them as well.
