Christopher's Story
Hello all.
OK, this is sort of a hybrid bio/plug, so be forewarned.
I have been living in Costa Rica since 2002 and am married to a lovely Peruvian social worker named Luisa. We have two incredible children: Lucas Qhari, 5 and Fiona Sage, 3. I met Luisa when I was here for a couple weeks as a volunteer with Habitat for Humanity back in 2001. I was living in LA at the time and decided to move down to work full time with Habitat Costa Rica doing communications and fund raising. Luisa was with Habitat doing field work and training seminars.
We have since moved on to put more focus on our family and build a bed and breakfast in the Central Valley town called San Ramon.
The B&B was finished in December, 2008 and actually published in Costa Rica's leading architecture magazine SU CASA ...Expand for more
in March 2009. It is called Casa Amanecer. We have an incredible view of the mountains and coffee farms all around us. And we are a short distance from one of the most active volcanoes in the world (but not too close). More importantly, we are not too far from some great hot springs.
