Christopher's Story
Life
Well this is a little dated. I "retired" from my first company four years ago. Sine then I have moved back to Texas (McKinney), spent so.e retired time, worked as an engineering contractor, worked for another large defense contractor, and worked as a math tutor at Mathnasium. Finally hooked up with a small engineering company in Melbourne, FL. Been here for a couple of months and so far so good.
Wound up in Denver after about 20 years in Austin. Still working with the same company that hired me right out of UT, so either they are doing something right or I am crazy - probably a combination of the two....Expand for more
Finally got married in December 2003 to a wonderful woman. I now know why I waited so long. Got an eight year old stepson in the deal and that turned out to be icing on the cake. All in all life is good.
Now that my stepson is turning twelve, Susan and I just returned from China, where we adopted a beautiful 20 month old daughter. It was a long drawn out process (over two years) and they kept telling me that she would be worth the wait. I still find it hard to believe what an understatement that was, even tonight when she won't stop throwing her toys around. :-)
