Christopher's Story

Life I attended Otterbein College in Westerville, Ohio to get a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theatre Performance (Acting/Directing). In late 1994, I moved to Southern California (Los Angeles County), where I worked a variety of different jobs...but the job I worked the most - off and on over the years - was as an extra (background actor) on a number of motion pictures, lots of television shows, some music videos, and commercials. There were even several of these I was actually featured in (seen clearly), and there was one Toyota Tacoma Truck commercial in which I was upgraded to a principal speaking role and the commercial aired on cable for approximately 6 months. I directed a documentary in 1999 (and an updated/new version in 2004, released in 2007) about a man who was completely and totally healed by Jesus Christ of H.I.V. and A.I.D.S. (which includes medically documented proof), one or two other documentaries in 2001, and I plan, by the will and grace of God, to direct more documentaries in the future, as well as commercials, short movies, and major motion pictures. I moved up to Northern California in May, 2001, after a ministry I was doing directing and editing work with in Southern California relocated to north of San Francisco. My current full-time job is as a Residential Customer Service R...Expand for more
epresentative for [the new] at&t (formerly SBC). This year (2010), I was very blessed and privileged to have worked with a phenomenal cast and crew on a short film I produced and directed (and had a cameo role in) for the 168 Hour Film Project, a Christian speed-filmmaking competition in which teams from around the world write a short film based on a theme and a Bible verse (verses vary from team to team), and only have 168 hours (7 days) to shoot, edit and turn in a finished short film. This year's theme was "Hearing God," and the Bible verse my team (Team 3) received was Nehemiah 8:9b-10. We recently found out that our short film, "Skip Listening," is in the top 20 and is eligible for awards at the 8th annual 168 Hour Film Project Film Festival in late March!!! For lots of pictures and even more information, including teaser trailers, please see my Facebook Wall information. Hope you all are well, and God bless you with *ALL* He has for each of you and your families, friends, acquaintances and coworkers...And, if I've ever hurt your feelings or acted inappropriately toward you before, I sincerely apologize and ask you to please - from your heart - forgive me. Thank you so very much and God Almighty bless you so richly. Feel free to write. Another Ridgewood Survivor, Christopher Shawn Shaw ('90)
