Christopher's Story
Life
Alright, so I was joking when writing the following bio. My life is much less dramatic than the one suggested below even if there are glimpses of the truth in it. I just thought I'd indulge in a bit of creativity since I never believed that anyone would every read it in the first place. Total truth: I live & work in Brooklyn, NY. That's it. Want a good laugh, then read on. Chris
Greetings fellow archers. I hope that you read this message in good spirits, good health and even brighter days. I pray that this website will become a vehicle for those driven by curiosity, concern or any other motivation to communicate with me directly. I'm anxious to hear about the lifecyles and changes that you
have been through since our days in the ivy halls of Southside. I've been through many manifestations of life since you knew me last, the first major change being my name. Although you once knew me as Christopher Pulliam I am now referred to by friends and associates as Jah-Star--Lyricist Eternal. Anyone familiar with underground hip-hop may have heard of this name but never attributed it to me. In either event, I am ...Expand for more
a hip-hop artist/visionary just trying to bring truth and solidarity to the world through my rhytms/sounds/words. After our trip together down the aisles of the Colliseum in June of '92 I went on to college. While there I studied art, socialogy and black studies. After spending a semester abroad in Germany I decided to abandon school (as institution) and continue learning by my own means. I travelled throughout parts of Europe for a quick minute following different graffiti artists. Eventually I settled in Rome where I was down with one of the local "crews," tagging trains and yards that serviced the region and country. For the past 4 years I've lived in New York city where I work as a tattoo artist/dj and am in the army reserves. I'm trying to put out a demo album of my rhymes, the cover of which I'm designing with my girlfriend. Oh, I also want to add that my girlfiend, who is seeking political asylum in Canada, has also been collaborating with me and others to put together an art exhibit of works made by prison inmates. ok, that's a HECK of a lot. but hey, it's been a while and that's what this is for, right?
