Christy's Story
Aloha Y'all From Roland, Arkansas!!
After graduating from Kailua HS, I attended the University of Oregon and graduated with a degree in Journalism. I lived in Laguna Beach, CA for 10 years, working for Ocean Pacific Beachwear and in outside sales with a food brokerage firm. I married an Arkansan also living in Laguna Beach and we moved to Little Rock in 1990. It took me several years to get used to the clickish southern culture but I love the wide open spaces and natural beauty. want to live here after being born and raised in Hawaii, I tell them, "I'm a Southern Fried Hawaiian". Enough said!
I divorced and remarried Randy Hall, a cowboy who retired from the LR Police Dept and spend several years overseas as UN Peacekeeper. We live on 35 acres on the outskirts of LR with dogs, donkeys and horses. His uncle died on the Arizona during the attack on Pearl Harbor so he has a real connection to the island. We come back to visit frequently and love spending time at Kailua Beach.
My parents both passed away in 2008 but I still have 2 sisters living on Oahu as well as extended family.
