Christy's Story
I graduated from SMS, or whatever it is now. While in college, I did an internship at Walt Disney World. After graduating, I went back to Orlando to work at the Magic Kingdom as a trainer in attractions (Splash Mountain, Tom Sawyer Island, etc).
I began to grow tired of the Mouse, so I interviewed with Shelter Insurance and moved to Indianapolis to be a Claims Adjuster. I didn't know a soul here, but I loved the area. I did that for a few years then moved to the Underwriting departm...Expand for more
ent to become a Regional Underwriting Specialist. I am lucky enough to work from my home and travel quite a bit.
I am happily married to Doug and we have four children! He had 3 boys from a previous marriage and they are Doug (21), Evan (20), and Ryan (18). We have one daughter, Maggie, together. She is now 10 and kind of a "mini-me".
I love spending time with my family, friends, and neighbors. My life revolves around having fun, which includes vacations, grilling out, concerts, etc.
