Here's the Reader's Digest Version: Graduated and after working and apartment living locally, I moved to Gainesville and worked at Shand's Teaching Hospital and eventually married Mark Slaughter - (no one knew until a year later while we were getting a divorce!) I married again, in 1976 and had our 1st child, a little girl in 1983. In 1986 we were blessed with our son, who at the young age of 21, was killed in a motorcycle accident. My faith in God has kept me from losing my sanity and I know I will see him again...My marriage, after 35+ years however did not survive the stress of losing our son.
