I was a bit of a rebel in high school and no doubt dressed like I had been living in the 80's. For some odd reason, classmates always referred me as "Lisa's cousin"' instead of calling me by my name. My cousin, Lisa, at the time, was semi popular in our class, while I was the new kid in the neighborhood longing to make my own friends. High school life at Seaside was a brief two years for me. After graduation, I attended Mt. St. Mary's College in Los Angeles to study in their physical therapist assistant program. After two years there, I realized this career field was not what I had wanted to pursue. Therefore, I returned home to San Francisco, worked a full time job for a brokerage firm, while attending evening classes at City College of San Francisco.
