Chuck's Story
Well, I went to South Alabama for a couple of years. I met Rhonda right out of High School and we got married when we were 19. I went to work off shore to make a quick financial start. That didn't work out very well! Made good money just couldn't keep it in the bank. If you remember, I was always in the food business through HS and got back into it when I returned from my journey off shore and stayed in that for quite some time. The Wendy's franchise I worked for transfered me to Louisiana and we stayed there for about 3 years and it was there that we had our first son, Tommy. I came to know my true best friend Jesus Christ. That my friends changed my life forever! Moved back to Mobile to work for Pilot Travel Centers. They moved me to Indianapolis 6 months later. They moved us to Knoxville, TN 9 months later. Then moved us to Virginia 12 months later. Then moved us to Mobile, then to Brunswick, GA, where I am today. I left Pilot about 10 years ago and I am the Operations Manager for a chain of convenience stores called Parker's. I have a partnership in one store and that acts as a healthy carrot on a stick to ensure I stay around for at least 12 more years then I plan to retire and move to the Mountains of VA or TN with my bride, Rhonda.
