Chuck's Story
I spent 30 years inthe Air Force, traveled all over the world. Retired last summer and thought I'd found my ideal world in Tampa Florida. You know how the song goes if you want to see God laugh just tell him your plan. Mom and Dad both in very poor health and I find my heart being tugged in that direction. I'm working as an Emergency Manager and Antiterrorism Officer at the Air Force Academy in C Springs. or case of cold beer). Still have 6 great kids, 4 in the military and a Grandpa once but another one soon. I hope to get up to Longmont very soon and connect with everyone that is still in the area.
Its been a hell of a ride, gotten to do a lot of great things and have a lot of fun all over the world. I never imagined that I would be in Baghdad the night the war started. It was a heck of a light show! Best fireworks I've ever seen.
