Life CHARLES H. SORGE,(Chuck) I am currently working at the Pentagon in Washington DC as the Personal Security advisor to the Air Force Vice Chief of Staff. I have been blessed to have traveled all over the world in both an Official and Personal Capacity in my 18 years in the Air Force I started my career in the air Force at Lackland Air Force Base TX: 1987 in the Basic Security Police Technical School. Security Forces Shift Sergeant 1999: SAF/OS Personal Security Advisor for the Secretary of the Air Force. 1999: AF/CV Personal Security Advisor for the Vice Chief of Staff of the Air Force 1999-2001: 11th Security Forces Squadron Detachment #1, Pentagon, DC. Security Forces Shift Sergeant 2001-2004: 11th Wing Antiterrorism Force Protection NCO 2004-Present: Personal Security Advisor for the Vice Chief of Staff of the Air Force I have been married for 15 years I meet my beautiful wife Darlene in Germany. We have two boys Adam (11) and Aaron (10). It seems like a blur since I graduated but it has been the greatest of journeys.
