Chuck's Story
Recently retired meteorologist specializing in severe weather forecasting and have worked for the NWS as well as televison stations in Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Chicago and in central Pa cable television. Currently a freelance voice over artist voicing adds for TV, radio and documentaries. Attended Carnegie Mellon, Mississippi State and Oklahoma universities. I have two grown sons that also have a science background. I've dabbled in music but have pretty much left that behind. I've traveled extensively taking groups on vacations to Hawaii, Alaska, and across Canada. I currently live in north central PA along a beautiful river with my 3 Australian shepherds. ling across my property along with eagles and osprey soaring over the river. I've been heavily involved in charity work including serving on the state board of directors as communications chairman for Special Olympics of PA. Participating in the annual Polar Plunge and serving as emcee for state banquets and seminars. Eventhough I am retired, I help with fundraising events and promote the Northern Pennsylvania Wilds. My goal is to continue working and looking for new challenges until I leave this planet as I have an issue with staying still....dangerous with time on my hands. I'm so grateful for having a rewarding career and many fond memories of the class of 1977! Jeez, what a long strange trip it's been.
