Cindy's Story

Life Since HS graduation, I earned a BS degree in Secretarial Administration from UNC-Greensboro. Met my husband, Tom, between my Soph. and Jr. years and we married between my Jr. and Sr. year. We moved to Boone, NC, after I graduated from college and have been here ever since. We have 2 children and one grandson (just 6 months old). Our son will marry a wonderful girl this summer at the beach. I've had many different positions in the working world. I worked in the Placement Office of Appalachian State University, was a legal secretary for about 5 years, worked for an interior designer for about 6 years, was a Mail Response Processor for Franklin Graham's ministry (Samaritan's Purse) for 3 years, have taken care of my elderly Mom in our home for 4 years before she broke her hip last summer and had to be placed in a nursing facility. e in town. Our vacations are spent mostly near the ocean. We all love the beach. We also go to Orlando at least once a year. Looking forward to Jackson being old enough to enjoy Disney World. We have one dog, Butternut, and 2 cats, Sammie and Macado(Mac). We love animals and the out-of-doors, golf, walking, sitting on the deck overlooking the mountains of NC. We have taken several trips out West and one wonderful adventure to the Canadian Rockies and Alaska. I love taking pictures and hope to get them in albums one of these days. Going to the beach with my daughter and grandson next week just to do such a thing. That's my life in a nutshell so far. Am sure I've forgotten something very important but, oh well. Enough for now! Oh yeah, I worked in retail sales of men's and ladie's fashions for 7 years. I knew I forgot some part of my life! Would love to hear from you. Write me!!
