Cindra (Cindy)'s Story
Hi everyone! I am living in Gorham and STILL teaching! This is my 35th year in education and I still love to get up and go to work!! I feel very fortunate to have worked at something that I loved to do. Of course my favorite thing to do is be with my granddaughters, Skylar and Royal, teaching them about Mother Nature, recycling and reusing. My husband of 26 years died from PTSD (Vietnam) almost 8 years ago. We had three children together.... Heather is a science teacher, Hillary is an actor and Steve is a research scientist. ing around in my little flower gardens and swimming in my pool, along with community service in this terrific Maine town! I am a "country girl" and proud of it! I still think of all my high school classmates and wonder what they are all doing now! I shudder at all the cruel things girls did and said to each other and strive to teach young girls to support each other. I work for peace, in myself, my family, my community and the world. It isn't free and doesn't come easily. However, I teach it and live it. I have even written a childrens' book called Peace is Different. It has been translated into French, Spanish and Chinese! It is available on Amazon.com and is for all ages, but primarily for 3-7. My pen name is Cindra Cleaves Simpson. Would love to hear from you on Facebook. Peace and blessings to all of you!
