Cindy's Story
After high school, I went to U.T. and received a degree in choral conducting and voice. I taught for awhile, went to Munich to live for awhile, got into law school(didn't go), decided to get my masters in conducting and worked on my doctorate. I sang at the Aspen Music Festival for several years and ran a summer music program in Leysin, Switzer...Expand for more
land for several summers. I started an adult community choir in Austin called the River City Pops. Currently, I am the music director at Central Presbyterian Church in Austin. I was a high school choral director for 30 years in Austin and received a number of teaching awards. I am married to Dr.Ian Crooks, who is a psychiatrist and a musician.
