Cindy Erb's Story
Life
I never did graduate from high school. I attended at least 4 high schools. Hard to make many steady friends when you get moved around so much. During the summer just before my senior year, I was pregnant. My son, TJ, was born November of my senior year and then I dropped out of school for lack of a baby sitter. After the birth of my second child, a daughter, Jennifer, in 1981 while in Germany, I received my GED.
When my oldest child graduated high school in 1993, I finally went and completed my college education. I am a Registered Nurse. I have been the Director of Nursing in 2 different nursing homes for a total of 16 years. The year my second child graduated, 1999, my parents retired and moved down here to MS so I bought a home with 3000 sq feet. My parents now live with me.
I have now decided that since both my children are grown and live away from home that I am going to spend their inheritance. Life is too short not to have fun.

. He attended and graduated from Oxford High School in '69. He plays a good lead guitar (even though he tells me he don't) and I strum. He goes by guitarpicker38951 and I use strumbumgal. We play at a lot of different functions from little festivals in the area to nursing homes. We are also in the gospel band at our church.
I ride 2004 650 V-Star Classic with a custom pink paint job and am past president of the Calhoun County Riders Association. Stephen rides a Honda. We have a 2005 29 foot Jayco Feather camper that stays in Grenada. I use a 400 Honda 4 wheeler from October to the end of January hunting. When I am not at work, I keep the motor running underneath me on something. I love to hunt and fish and anything to do with the outdoors. Pretty different for a girl that grew up on the city streets of Jersey.
I am proud of what I have done with my life and knowing that I am assisting to make life better for others makes me prouder. I know that my soul is saved and hope yours is also.
