Cindy's Story
Life
I have settled in San Mateo, California. After high school, I attended Eastern Michigan University.
I have resided in California since 1976. I married my husband, Steve, in 1978 and had a beautiful baby girl in 1986.
After changing careers several times, she received 2 teaching credentials. She went to Notre Dame Da Namur (formerly College of Notre Dame) to obtain her trainig towards her Professional, Clear Multiple Subject Credential. She finished here in the year 1992. cation Field. She finished her training for her Specail Education Credential with an emphasis in Learning Disabled in the year 1998.
During my time at school, I worked as a substitute both for the county classes as well as the district classes. I decided that she would prefer to work on my own. In the year 2004, she started Cindy's Tutorial Service. I work with students from grades k to 8th to make them more successful in school.
I, also, attend meetings for parents of special needs students. I am learning how to help them advocate for services.
