Life After completing high school I attended Tyler Junior College. I met my husband, Lee Evans there at TJC. We married just before final exams of my second year, (I would never recommend that by the way). We’ve been married for 23 years. Lee is a wonderful husband and father to our children. Lee had felt called to be a pastor and God had been working on me as well. I stepped into this marriage knowing that! I followed him through college and helped him by working full time until our first child was born. God has blessed us with 3 children, a son and two daughters. My oldest is a self taught computer “genius”, and I’m very proud of him! My oldest daughter is in college at Howard Payne University, she wants to be missionary and my youngest daughter is in High School and is active with drama and journalism. Since marriage, we’ve just lived in Texas towns, Marshall, Tenaha, Price (or Carlisle), Kosse, Granbury and currently Bangs. The largest town other than Tyler was Granbury, close to the Dallas, Ft. Worth area. After living there we decided the big city life was not for us. We prefer the slower pace, not that we personally have slowed down any!
