Cindy's Story

After graduation from LHS in 1965, I attended MSCW. Between my sophomore and junior year, I married my high school sweetheart, Terry Cline (New Hope class of '62, MSU class of '67). I completed my college degree in business education from the "W" in 1969 and began teaching high school business subjects at New Hope High School in Lowndes County. I taught there two years before our first child, Scott was born. Five years later, we welcomed our daughter, Kerri. The year before Kerri was born, I completed coursework and received an MBA from the "W". I began teaching part-time at the "W"--elementary, ...Expand for more
intermediate, and advanced keyborading & formatting and advanced shorthand. In 1990, I began teaching at Heritage Academy, a private college prep school here in Columbus. I taught, accounting,typing/keyboarding, and computer classes. I retired from HA eight years ago when I had to have knee surgery. I really loved teaching and have missed the children so very much. Terry and I have now been married 47 years and have three grandchildren--Kerigan, 16 years old and Cline, 2 1/2 years old by our daughter and Kinsley, 4 1/2 old, by our son. God has blessed me and my family, and I give Him all the glory.
