I have launched a new company called My Coveralls, a unique line of apparel for individuals with an ostomy. I design and custom sew fine ostomy pouch covers for women, men and children. My goal is to become the premier designer and to start a revolution in the way that people think about their pouches. about. I have the business expertise, the clinical knowledge and the life experience of being a woman with an ostomy, so I expect My Coveralls to be a success. I look forward to sharing my product and helping people to be confident and to feel good about their image. I also happen to be a clinical specialist in nursing (WOCN). I have a double masters and I am about to begin the Professional Nursing Doctorate at Cardiff University in Wales. My husband Steve Shaffer who sings the Blues as Saint Skytower, and I live on a small farm, the Twin T Farm, which we are preparing for our first planting of Christmas trees. We are doing land management and will be experimenting with hair sheep to clear the land. Originally from Cape Cod I am a transplant to the DC area and we moved to the eastern panhandle of WV 10 years ago. It's beautiful country, but I never thought I'd be a country girl from the wild and wonderful state of WV, I love it!".
