Left California in the fall of 1976 and headed to Oregon. Worked at a sawmill for a while. All of my children were born in Oregon. Moved to the Black Hills of South Dakota for a year and a half, then drove to Seattle, got on a ferry and headed for Alaska in August of 1988. I've been here ever since. king as a special-ed aide (paraprofessional) in 1989. I spent 15 years at the elementary school before they moved me over to the high school. In 1994 I also started managing a 24 unit, low income, Section 8 apartment complex. I have decided that I work too much;-)
