Cindy's Story

Life I have four daughters. I have one grand-daughter, Roxanne , 6 grandsons, Austin, Shawn, John, Keygan, Landon, and Zackariah. I also am a great grandmother to a beautiful grand daughter and have a great grandson Micheal that will be making his appearance late January, early February 2022. I'm a certified nurses aide and have been working in the field since 1988. I have been married once, divorced and married for a second time and divorced again after 26 years. Lived in Arizona and Iowa for 10 years and have been back in Montana for 18 years now. Was injured at work so am not employed now. My grandchildren are the joys of my life. I enjoy crocheting and needlework for leisure time, along with playing games . If I had one do-over it would have been to have stayed in my first marriage and made a go of it for my children's sake. They deserved more than what they got. Been doing a lot of crafts trying to get some things sold or start my own business in home made crafts, which are building up in my home. Have changed a lot as don't take crap from anyone anymore, and I speak my mind. I always wanted to be a Nurse when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a great idea. As it turns out, they were wrong, as didn't get far, as only made it to being a nurses assistant... I'm back in school (college), getting a BA in Health care Administration, will graduate around January 2017. Well, still have one year of college if I go back. Can't believe it has been almost 40 years since I was In high School. The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Tim,and Don, because we were the outsiders in our high school class. My husband and I enjoy going to pay-per-view wrestling once a month and having dinner out. If I won $100 million, I'd give 10 million of it to charity, then spend the rest on a house, a new vehicle and pay off bills and take a tropical vacation for a month or more.... ...Expand for more
I like to work our in my flower beds, attending to my flowers and mowing the lawn. My father was my hero, as he was strong through all the things he did in his life. Thought he would live for ever, but was not the case, as he surcumed to a heart attack in 2000, and I miss him. That life might have been crappy for my children as they were raised by their father, but I still have the love of my girls, even after bad times, as I am close to 3 out of 4 of them and they have brought me such joy. My current age is 52. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be over the hill. I was so completely wrong because people are healthier and more active these days. My best friend would tell you I'm crazy, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as shy. I wear stretch pants most of the time now instead of wranglers or lee's, as my weight flucuates up and down all the time that it is not worth the hassle of buying jeans and them only lasting for a little while. In 10 years, I hope to be a Healthcare Administrator. I'm going to get there by working to get my bachlor's degree. I am in my senior year at Ashford University where I take classes that are 5 wweks long, and all of it is done online. My oldest friend is Christina Castro. We grew up together around the south side of Billings, Montana, we were always at each other's houses. We lost touch over the years with me moving from city to city with family. The great thing is we met back up, and I hope to be seeing her and enjoying time with her when she gets down this way as we live hundreds of miles from one another. My first job was at Mountainview Hospital and Nursing Home, where I got paid 5.00 to take care of the elderly and anyone that was in the hospital, which we hardly had anyone in it. What I remember most about it is that the work was sometimes disgusting, but I loved taking care of the people in the nursing home..
